AceHTML
---------

You may want to use an HTML editor,
once you get a basic understanding of HTML tags.
This version of AceHTML is free on the Web at:
software.visicommedia.com/en/products/acehtmlfreeware/
---------
An editor can make quick work of much of this.
You'll find that an editor is ESSENTIAL
when you begin to learn <table></table> tags.
---------
HTML is probably the world's simplest computer code,
and NOW you've got a handle on it.
---------
To see an example of a simple website,
open AceHTML and have a look.
It's a shareware program, so you'll have to go through
a few dialogue boxes to open and close the program.
When you open the program,
the cursor is positioned right between the <body></body> tags
ready to type! Type some test words.
Click File>Save As in the menu at the top.
In the "Filename" box: NAME and SAVE to create a ".htm"
file.
Look under "Files of Type" to pick the file ending ".htm".
---------
That's all!
Your experience as a webauthor has begun.
