<>connect in FTP
<>select the .htm file and the .jpg / .gif files on your computer side of FTP
<>send (click the send arrow)
<>select the file on the server side that you just sent
<>re-name (click re-name button) "yourwebsite.htm" file to "index.html"
<>if it was a .jpg or .gif you DO NOT re-name it!

You will learn to keep FTP and your BROWSER open at the same time,
as you will be alternately using them to make and view your changes!
You'll soon be snapping around in these programs like a veteran.


<>open any .htm file in IExplorer
<>view source
<>make changes and save
<>refresh IExplorer to see changes
<>FTP .htm file to correct page folder on server side.
<>FTP graphics into the same folder as the associated .htm file.
<>rename .htm file to "index.html".
