Familiarize yourself with these areas in the program!

(See Graphic Above) Use the Re-Size Button to re-size the lower two windows.
Click the "Go Up One Level button" on the home side to find your hard
disk drive.
Locate the folder containing the .htm files of your website.

To make sure you can read all the folder names,
click the "Views" button (See Above Graphic),
then try the choices to see which is best for you.

The all important Make New Folder, Re-Name, and Delete buttons
become available around the server side window when you connect.

In the left lower corner window area of FTP,
find the .htm file you just edited (and any .jpg's or .gif's) and click each once to select it.
Hold down the control key on your keyboard
to select multiple files and AceFTP will send them all!
With the file(s) selected on your home computer side,
Click the arrow button pointing to the right. (See Graphic Below)

File(s) transfers to server (see progress bar in above graphic)
Select the ".htm" file that you just sent with one mouse click.
(on server side, LOWER RIGHT corner of AceFTP)
With the file selected, Click the "rename" button.
Re-name it "index.html".
Hit enter key to save and refresh the list.
That's it...you just edited your website!
View the Page on the Web to verify you just made the change.
DO NOT re-name graphic files (.jpg or .gif)!
