Kelco Industries dog shampoos are very good with user friendly ingredients and lots of specifically targeted problem shampoos (dry skin, fleas, odor...) that WORK. Be really careful about over-bathing your pet with the wrong shampoo!
	Train pet from about 8 weeks on that grooming is a part of life. Skin, inside ears, teeth, nails - all are things that are basic to good health.
Don`t neccessarily support pet breeders in their quest for the perfect bloodline. Consider the poor pup at the humane society thats gonna get gassed if you don`t save it. We have seen excellant purebreeds as well as the old standby mixed breed come from the humane society. Always check there first!!!
	Gotta have a purebreed? Check local rescue clubs as they are generally breed specific. You should see our Great Dane Gracie. We got her malnourished and completely unsocialized after running the hills above Kona, fending for herself as a pup. Now she`s trying to lick my face as I type this. More later...
